Bombay Club

Casamento's
Restaurant
Casamento's was established in 1919 by
Joe Casamento from Ustica, Italy. Known for the freshest
seafood in New Orleans and cleanlinest of the all tiled
restaurant. Casamento's is know for Raw oysters, Fried
oyster and seafood gumbo. Also the best Fried soft shell
crabs. The Oyster loaf, 10-16 golden fried oysters layered
on Pan Bread, also known as Texas Toast buttered and
toasted under an open fire commands a hearty appetite.
Also available in half loaf also. Shrimp, Trout, Softshell
crabs are also available the same way. The seafood gumbo
is thick, rich and chocked full of shrimp, okra and
crabmeat. Raw oysters are served ice cold and right out of
the shell. Casamento's is now run by CJ and his wife
Linda. CJ is the grandson of Joe. |
