Whether you follow a bayou road past scenic shrimping villages,
or just take a drive to appreciate the flowers of spring, Louisiana offers you
many nature trails that lead to a greater appreciation of our abundant beauty.
Best yet, one of the driving tours is probably right on the way to your
principal destination extra fun without extra miles! In addition, the state is
implementing a program called "Rails to Trails" through which old
railroad tracks are converted into multi-use trails. The first phase of trails
is open in the Abita Springs-Mandeville area.
